In the future, apparently, the only thing more dangerous than a crime-ravaged society is sitting through a movie about one. *Kill Code* is a dystopian action thriller that has the aesthetics of a decent cyberpunk film and the soul of a placeholder script generated during a coffee break. Even his performance is bland. It must be the directing, as the rest of the cast, including Tyrese Gibson, are equally flat.

I only made it 45 minutes in, then I had to bail. It's a film that gets by on a shiny veneer, only to reveal a rotten core of a script. It's a testament to the fact that a 3D world cannot save a two-dimensional story.
