Damir Andrei is a Director/actor born in Zagreb, Croatia. He came to Montreal with his parents in 1963 at the age of 8, speaking neither English nor French. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada in acting, inspired by the work of Douglas Rain. Damir Andrei worked often at the now defunct Phoenix Theatre of Montreal directing Sexual Perversity in Chicago among other plays there.
