Shiva Shankar Manandhar (22 February 1932 – 14 November 2004) was a pioneering Nepali singer, music composer, and actor who made a lasting contribution to the development of modern Nepali music and cinema. Born in Pako, Newroad, Kathmandu, he began his professional career at Radio Nepal in May 1951 and remained closely associated with the institution for more than four decades, contributing as a singer, composer, mentor, and promoter of emerging musical talent.
