Giorgos Moschidis was born in Kavala in 1931. His father was a tobacco worker and his mother was the daughter of a tobacco merchant. He began his career as an actor in 1948 with touring troupes. He then studied at the Drama School of the Thessaloniki Conservatory. His first professional appearance was in 1952 with the Aronis-Manolidou Troupe in the play “Romantzo”. In the theater, he collaborated with the largest Athenian troupes, as well as with the National Theater and the Art Theater, playing in all genres of theater.
