Jake Teague was born near New York in 1927, the youngest son of four children. He was the child of an Irishwoman and an Austrian and was raised as a Catholic, resulting in his strong belief in God. Similar to his father, he ran a successful company in New York, which unfortunately went bankrupt at the end of the 60s - his wife also left him around this time, along with his children. When Jake reached the lowest point of his life, he was constantly looking for new jobs, including small roles in movies.
