

Acting
After completing a two-year course at the Kazakhfilm studio, Dimash Akhimov began acting in films in 1968. In 1970, he entered the acting department at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (Moscow) in the class of Boris Babochkin and graduated successfully in 1974. His diploma work included the lead role in William Shakespeare's play Othello, as well as the role of the mayor in Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector.
